Sorcha Hume is the Public Affairs Manager for Cancer Research UK in Scotland, a role she has held since January 2023. She began her career as an NHS doctor and has spent the past decade working across a range of roles, primarily within the third sector. Her interest in public affairs was sparked during her time as a parliamentary researcher for an MSP, and she briefly returned to the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic to support the national vaccination programme.
