Scottish Cancer Conference 2025 – Thank You for Joining Us!
We were delighted to welcome delegates to this year’s Scottish Cancer Conference, held on Monday 10th November at the University of Strathclyde’s Technology & Innovation Centre in Glasgow.
The conference brought together a diverse range of voices from across the cancer community — including patients, clinicians, academics, charities, policy makers, and pharmaceutical companies — for a day of sharing, learning, and collaboration.
With the theme "Countdown to the 2026 Scottish Parliament Election", discussions focused on how we can collectively ensure cancer remains a top priority for the next Scottish Government. We explored progress in prevention, detection, diagnosis, and treatment, while acknowledging the urgent need to tackle persistent inequalities, with cancer mortality rates still around 80% higher in Scotland's most deprived areas compared to the least deprived.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a success. Your insights and commitment will help drive positive change for people affected by cancer.
