Lisa is Director of Research, Policy and Influencing at Bowel Cancer UK, where she leads a multidisciplinary team driving improvements in early diagnosis, access to treatment and research innovation. A biophysicist by training, Lisa has spent more than 20 years working across the charity sector in research strategy, science communication and policy.
She has a particular interest in identifying and addressing unmet needs in cancer and played a key role in developing the landmark Critical Research Gaps publications for both Breast Cancer Now and Bowel Cancer UK.
For the last decade, she has helped teams secure major policy change in bowel cancer screening, Lynch syndrome testing and surveillance, and early-onset colorectal cancer.
