Dr. Sarah Kingdon is the Tessa Jowell Neuro Oncology Clinical Fellow at The Beatson Cancer Centre, Glasgow and The Edinburgh Cancer Centre, where she specialises in neuro oncology. Her fellowship focuses on building in-depth clinical expertise in all aspects of neuro oncology, including advanced radiotherapy and clinical research, including trials and investigating approaches for MGMT promoter methylation testing. As part of her Fellowship, and to support the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission’s core aim of reducing inequity across the UK, Sarah is leading national working groups looking at addressing key areas of national variation, including treatment of brain radionecrosis and peer review of radiotherapy. The fellowship is funded by The Beatson Charity, NHS Lothian Charity and Chief Scientist Office.
